For those who don't vote
1 or believe in voting:
2 If the
LORD
(YAHWEH,
Yehovah)
God
('elohiym) chose David
(1 Ki 8:16;
2 Chr 6:5-6), a man after His own heart
(1 Sam 13:13-14;
Acts 13:21-22), to be King of Israel, then why should we not choose and vote for leaders, representatives, senators, presidents, etc.?
Jesus is not archangel Gabriel
(Dan 8:16;
9:21;
Luke 1:11, 19,
26) or an angel
(Luke 2:8-15;
22:40-43;
Acts 8:26;
10:1-8;
12:21-23;
27:23-24).
(Dan 8:16 KJV) "And I heard a man's voice between the banks of Ulai, which called, and said,
Gabriel, make this man to understand the vision."
(Dan 9:21 KJV) "Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the
man
Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation."
(Luke 1:19 KJV) "And the angel answering said unto him, I am
Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God; and am sent to speak unto thee, and to show thee these glad tidings."
(Luke 1:26-38 KJV) "And in the sixth month the
angel
Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph..."
Jesus "...the Word..."
(John 1:1-14 KJV),
who descended from heaven
(John 3:13) and ascended to heaven
(John 6:62-63),
3 "...took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham"
(Heb 2:16 KJV).
Man was made/created in the image/likeness of God,
(Gen 1:26-27; 5:1-2),
and Jesus, "...Who is the
image of the invisible God..."
(Col 1:15 KJV), "Who, being in the
form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the
form of a servant, and was
made in the
likeness of men:"
(Phil 2:6-7 KJV).
"For God so loved the world that He gave His
only
begotten Son..."
(John 3:16 KJV), sent "...his own Son in the
likeness of sinful flesh..."
(Rom 8:3 KJV), and "...made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself..."
(Col 1:16-20 KJV).
(John 1:1-14 KJV) "And the
Word was
made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only
begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth."
(Heb 2:16 KJV) "For verily he took not on him the nature of
angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham."
(Rom 8:3-4 KJV)
"For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the
likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin,
condemned sin in the flesh: {4} That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit."
(Phil 2:6-7 KJV) "Who, being in the
form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: {7} But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the
form of a servant, and was
made in the
likeness of men:"
(Col 1:15-20 KJV) "Who is the
image of the invisible God, the
firstborn of every creature... {16} For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: {17} And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. {18} And he is the head of the body, the
church: who is the beginning, the
firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. {19} For it
pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell; {20} And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven."
(Heb 1:3 KJV) "Who being the brightness of his
glory, and the
express
image of his person, and upholding all things by the
word of his
power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;"
(1 Tim 3:16 KJV)
"And without controversy great is the
mystery of godliness: God was
manifest in the flesh, justified in the
Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory."
(1 John 4:2-3 KJV)
"Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that
Jesus
Christ is come in the flesh is of God: {3} And every spirit that confesseth not that
Jesus
Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of
antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world."
The LORD
(Num 12:6-8) spoke by the prophets
(Heb 1:1-2), gave them many visions
(chazown: H2377; "from
chazah: H2372; a sight (mentally) i.e. a dream, revelation, or oracle"), and used similitudes
(damah: H1819; "a prim. root; to compare; by impl. to resemble, liken, consider," according to Strong's dictionary) by the ministry of the prophets
(Hosea 12:10).
(Num 12:5-8 KJV) "And the
LORD came down in the pillar of the cloud, and stood in the door of the tabernacle, and called Aaron and Miriam: and they both came forth.
{6} And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself
known unto him in a
vision, and will speak unto him in a
dream. {7} My servant Moses is not so, who is faithful in all mine house.
{8} With him will I speak
mouth to
mouth, even
apparently, and not in
dark
speeches;
4 and the
similitude of the LORD shall he
behold: wherefore then were ye not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?"
When you follow the references and study the Scriptures, you'll understand who
YAHWEH,
Yehovah is. In the New Testament He is the Lord, God, Savior, Redeemer, Lamb
(Rev 14:1-5), and in the Old Testament He is
Yehovah
(YAHWEH) translated Jehovah
(Exo 6:3;
Psa 83:18;
Isa 12:2;
26:4) and LORD
(Zec 14:1-5).
An Hundred Forty-four Thousand
(Rev 14:1-5)
5
(Rev 14:1-2 KJV)
"And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads.
{2} And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps:"
The 144,000 in
Rev 14:1-5,
which will go through the Great Tribulation, at first, was a little difficult for me to figure out, because of their attributes in verse
4, until I considered the number of them.
(Rev 14:3-5 KJV) "And they sung as it were a new song before the
throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were
redeemed from the earth. {4} These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are
virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were
redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb. {5} And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God."
I believe this 144,000
(Rev 14:1-5) are the same 144,000 in
Revelation 7:1-8 who will be sealed in their foreheads so not to be hurt with plagues
(Rev 7:3;
9:3-4)
and who may not die but changed and stand with Jesus on Mount Sion when He returns.
Zechariah 14:1-5 is a similar account with more or less details.
(Zec 14:1-5 KJV) "Behold, the day of the
LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.
{2} For I
will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city
shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
{3} Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight
against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.
{4} And his
feet shall
stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall
cleave in the
midst thereof
toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall
remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.
{5} And ye shall
flee to
the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall
flee, like as ye
fled from before the
earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the
LORD my
God shall come, and all the saints
6 with thee."
On the Day of the LORD, all His
(YAHWEH,
Yehovah)
Saints come with Him, and His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives
(Zec 14:1-5). As a group, the 144, 000
(similitude) could represent all Israel
(Rom 11:26) who have the first fruits
7 of the Spirit
(Rom 8:22-23). They are virgins and faultless (unblemished) who have not been defiled with women
8 and follow the Lamb wherever He goes, which helps me to understand the type of people
He will have with Him throughout all eternity.
Note: If you understand how Revelation is written, not necessarily following a chronological order and in part
(1 Cor 13:9-10), the seventh trumpet
(Rev 10:7;
11:15), the last trumpet
(1 Cor 15:51-52) has already sounded, the dead in Christ have been raised
incorruptible, and those that remain have been changed; and according to
1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, have been "...caught up together with them in
the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord...."
Paul explains the merger of Saints and their bodies very well in
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18. When Jesus appears the second time
(Heb 9:28) for the first resurrection
(Rev 20:4-6), God is bringing with Him Saints
(1 Th 3:13;
Jude 1:14) who sleep in Jesus
(1 Th 4:13-15) -- souls in heaven
(Rev 6:9). "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a
shout, with the
voice of the archangel, and with the
trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be
caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the
air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord"
(1 Th 4:16-17 KJV). That is when Saints live and reign with Christ
(Rev 20:4).
We will meet the Lord in the air, which means to meet the Lord in the air and not remain there. Because if we will be with Him forever and reign
(Rev 5:9-10
9) with Him
(Rev 2:27
10), along with the 144,000
(Rev 14:1-5), we will need to come to the earth after the wrath
(Rev 11:14-18
11) and plagues
(Rev 15:4-16:17).
Note: Saints will be caught up
(1 Th 4:13-18) and gathered
(Mat 13:30,
39) together
(2 Th 2:1-4) in the clouds
(Mat 24:30-31
12) with Jesus
(Dan 3:25) for a good reason
(Isa 26:20-21).
Noah and those with him were in the ark
(Gen 6:17-18) when the flood came
(Gen 7:21-23). And Saints
(1 Th 3:13;
Jude 1:14) will be in the clouds with Jesus
(Dan 3:25) when the wrath of God is revealed
(Rom 1:18-32), the vials of the wrath of God are poured out
(Rev 16:1-12,
17,
19), and the battle
(Rev 19:11-21) at a place called
Armageddon
(Rev 16:14, 16) occurs.
There's part of a Revelation vision in heaven
(Rev 15:7-8) that helps us understand not only the timing of the resurrection, which occurs before wrath
(Isa 26:20-21), but also the timing of the Marriage and Marriage Supper of the Lamb
(Rev 19:5-9), which occurs after wrath.
Mount of Olives cleave in the midst
(Zec 14:1-2 KJV) "Behold, the day of the
LORD cometh,
and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee. {2} For I
will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be
taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city
shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut
off from the city.
(Zec 14:3-4 KJV) "Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against
those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. {4} And his
feet shall
stand in
that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall
cleave in the
midst thereof
toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall
remove toward
the north, and half of it toward the south."
Saints with thee
(Zec 14:5 KJV) "And ye shall
flee to
the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall
flee, like as ye
fled from before the
earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the
LORD my
God shall come, and all the saints with thee."
