David...reigned forty years

(2 Sam 5:3-5 KJV) "So all the elders of Israel came to the king to Hebron; and king David made a league with them in Hebron before the LORD: and they anointed David king over Israel. {4} David was thirty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned forty years. {5} In Hebron he reigned over Judah seven years and six months: and in Jerusalem he reigned thirty and three years over all Israel and Judah."

David took the strong hold of Zion

David reigned over Israel were forty years

throne of David shall be established

they provoked him to jealousy with their sins

Abijam...Three years reigned he in Jerusalem

Abijah...reigned three years in Jerusalem

Asa his son reigned in his stead

Asa did that which was right in the eyes of the LORD

Jehoshaphat was thirty and five years old...reigned twenty and five years

Jehoram reigned in Jerusalem eight years

(2 Chr 21:20 KJV) "Thirty and two years old was he when he began to reign, and he reigned in Jerusalem eight years, and departed without being desired. Howbeit they buried him in the city of David, but not in the sepulchres of the kings."

Ahaziah his son reigned in his stead

(2 Ki 8:24-26 KJV) "And Joram slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David: and Ahaziah his son reigned in his stead. {25} In the twelfth year of Joram the son of Ahab king of Israel did Ahaziah the son of Jehoram king of Judah begin to reign. {26} Two and twenty years old was Ahaziah when he began to reign; and he reigned one year in Jerusalem. Ahaziah did evil in the sight of the LORD

Forty and two years old was Ahaziah when he began to reign

(2 Chr 22:1-2 KJV) "And the inhabitants of Jerusalem made Ahaziah his youngest son king in his stead: for the band of men that came with the Arabians to the camp had slain all the eldest. So Ahaziah the son of Jehoram king of Judah reigned. {2} Forty and two years old was Ahaziah when he began to reign, and he reigned one year in Jerusalem. His mother's name also was Athaliah the daughter of Omri."

Athaliah did reign over the land

(2 Ki 11:1-3 KJV) "And when Athaliah the mother of Ahaziah saw that her son was dead, she arose and destroyed all the seed royal. {2} But Jehosheba, the daughter of king Joram, sister of Ahaziah, took Joash the son of Ahaziah, and stole him from among the king's sons which were slain; and they hid him, even him and his nurse, in the bedchamber from Athaliah, so that he was not slain. {3} And he was with her hid in the house of the LORD six years. And Athaliah did reign over the land."

Jehoshabeath...hid (Joash) in the house of God six years

(2 Chr 22:10-12 KJV) "But when Athaliah the mother of Ahaziah saw that her son was dead, she arose and destroyed all the seed royal of the house of Judah. {11} But Jehoshabeath, the daughter of the king, took Joash the son of Ahaziah, and stole him from among the king's sons that were slain, and put him and his nurse in a bedchamber. So Jehoshabeath, the daughter of king Jehoram, the wife of Jehoiada the priest, (for she was the sister of Ahaziah,) hid him from Athaliah, so that she slew him not. {12} And he was with them hid in the house of God six years: and Athaliah reigned over the land."

Seven years old was Jehoash when he began to reign

(2 Ki 11:19-21 KJV) "And he took the rulers over hundreds, and the captains, and the guard, and all the people of the land; and they brought down the king from the house of the LORD, and came by the way of the gate of the guard to the king's house. And he sat on the throne of the kings. {20} And all the people of the land rejoiced, and the city was in quiet: and they slew Athaliah with the sword beside the king's house. {21} Seven years old was Jehoash when he began to reign."

Jehoash began to reign; and forty years reigned he in Jerusalem

Jehoash did that which was right in the sight of the LORD

Jehoash king of Judah took all the hallowed things...

Joash was seven years old...reigned forty years

Amaziah his son reigned in his stead

Amaziah...was twenty and five years old...reigned twenty and nine years

Amaziah did turn away from following the LORD...slew him

(2 Chr 25:27 KJV) "Now after the time that Amaziah did turn away from following the LORD they made a conspiracy against him in Jerusalem; and he fled to Lachish: but they sent to Lachish after him, and slew him there."

Azariah...Sixteen years old...reigned two and fifty years

(2 Ki 15:1-2 KJV) "In the twenty and seventh year of Jeroboam king of Israel began Azariah son of Amaziah king of Judah to reign. {2} Sixteen years old was he when he began to reign, and he reigned two and fifty years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Jecholiah of Jerusalem."

Azariah did that which was right in the sight of the LORD

(2 Ki 15:3-5 KJV) "And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father Amaziah had done; {4} Save that the high places were not removed: the people sacrificed and burnt incense still on the high places. {5} And the LORD smote the king, so that he was a leper unto the day of his death, and dwelt in a several house. Sixteen years old was Uzziah...reigned fifty and two years

(2 Chr 26:1-3 KJV) "Then all the people of Judah took Uzziah, who was sixteen years old, and made him king in the room of his father Amaziah. {2} He built Eloth, and restored it to Judah, after that the king slept with his fathers. {3} Sixteen years old was Uzziah when he began to reign, and he reigned fifty and two years in Jerusalem. began Jotham the son of Uzziah king of Judah to reign

(2 Ki 15:32-33 KJV) "In the second year of Pekah the son of Remaliah king of Israel began Jotham the son of Uzziah king of Judah to reign. {33} Five and twenty years old was he when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem. Jotham did that which was right in the sight of the LORD

Manasseh his son reigned in his stead

Josiah did that which was right in the sight of the LORD

took Jehoahaz...made him king in his father's stead

Pharaohnechoh made Eliakim king...turned his name to Jehoiakim
