wickedness of man was great

(Gen 6:5-13 KJV) "And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. {6} And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. {7} And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. {8} But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD. {9} These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God. {10} And Noah begat three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth. {11} The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. {12} And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. {13} And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth"

wicked is reserved to the day of destruction

(Job 21:30 KJV) "That the wicked is reserved to the day of destruction? they shall be brought forth to the day of wrath."

two witnesses

(Rev 11:3-9) "And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. {4} These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. {5} And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed. {6} These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will. {7} And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. {8} And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. {9} And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves."

earth shall rejoice over them

(Rev 11:10 KJV) "And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.

they ascended up to heaven

(Rev 11:11-12 KJV) "And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them. {12} And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them."

same hour was there a great earthquake

woe, woe, woe

bear witness

(John 5:28-29 KJV) "Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, {29} And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation."

framed by the word

(Heb 11:3 KJV) "Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear."

Add thou not unto his words

Worthy is the Lamb that was slain

(Rev 5:11-14 KJV) "And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; {12} Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing. {13} And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever. {14} And the four beasts said, Amen. not worthy of me

(Mat 10:37-39 KJV) "He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. {38} And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. {39} He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it."

walk worthy

counted worthy

world was not worthy

(Heb 11:36-38 KJV) "And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment: {37} They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented; {38} (Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth."

not defiled their garments...worthy

(Rev 3:4 KJV) "Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: D for they are worthy."

Do not drink wine nor strong drink

(Lev 10:9-11 KJV) "Do not drink wine nor strong drink, thou, nor thy sons with thee, when ye go into the tabernacle of the congregation, lest ye die: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations: {10} And that ye may put difference between holy and unholy, and between unclean and clean; {11} And that ye may teach the children of Israel all the statutes which the LORD hath spoken unto them by the hand of Moses."

separate himself from wine and strong drink

(Num 6:3-4 KJV) "He shall separate himself from wine and strong drink, and shall drink no vinegar of wine, or vinegar of strong drink, neither shall he drink any liquor of grapes, nor eat moist grapes, or dried. {4} All the days of his separation shall he eat nothing that is made of the vine tree, from the kernels even to the husk."

neither have ye drunk wine or strong drink

(Deu 29:5-6 KJV) "And I have led you forty years in the wilderness: your clothes are not waxen old upon you, and thy shoe is not waxen old upon thy foot. {6} Ye have not eaten bread, neither have ye drunk wine or strong drink: that ye might know that I am the LORD your God."

drink no wine nor strong drink

(Judg 13:7 KJV) "But he said unto me, Behold, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and now drink no wine nor strong drink, neither eat any unclean thing: for the child shall be a Nazarite to God from the womb to the day of his death."

neither let her drink wine or strong drink

(Judg 13:14 KJV) "She may not eat of any thing that cometh of the vine, neither let her drink wine or strong drink, nor eat any unclean thing: all that I commanded her let her observe."

drunk neither wine nor strong drink

(1 Sam 1:15 KJV) "And Hannah answered and said, No, my lord, I am a woman of a sorrowful spirit: I have drunk neither wine nor strong drink, but have poured out my soul before the LORD."

Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging

(Prov 20:1 KJV) "Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise."

loveth wine and oil shall not be rich

(Prov 21:17 KJV) "He that loveth pleasure shall be a poor man: he that loveth wine and oil shall not be rich."

drunkard and the glutton shall come to poverty

(Prov 23:21 KJV) "For the drunkard and the glutton shall come to poverty: and drowsiness shall clothe a man with rags."

that tarry long at the wine

(Prov 23:30-31 KJV) "They that tarry long at the wine; they that go to seek mixed wine. {31} Look not thou upon the wine when it is red, when it giveth his colour in the cup, when it moveth itself aright."

not for kings to drink wine

(Prov 31:4-5 KJV) "It is not for kings, O Lemuel, it is not for kings to drink wine; nor for princes strong drink: {5} Lest they drink, and forget the law, and pervert the judgment of any of the afflicted."

strong drink unto him that is ready to perish

(Prov 31:6-7 KJV) "Give strong drink unto him that is ready to perish, and wine unto those that be of heavy hearts. {7} Let him drink, and forget his poverty, and remember his misery no more."

rise up early...follow strong drink

(Isa 5:11 KJV) "Woe unto them that rise up early in the morning, that they may follow strong drink; that continue until night, till wine inflame them!"

Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine

(Isa 5:22-23 KJV) "Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink: {23} Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him!"

erred through wine, and through strong drink

sold a girl for wine

(Joel 3:3 KJV) "And they have cast lots for my people; and have given a boy for an harlot, and sold a girl for wine, that they might drink."

drink wine mingled with myrrh

(Mark 15:23 KJV) "And they gave him to drink wine mingled with myrrh: but he received it not."

drink neither wine nor strong drink

(Luke 1:15 KJV) "For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother's womb."

neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine

(Rom 14:21 KJV) "It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak."

not drunk with wine, wherein is excess

Not given to wine

(1 Tim 3:2-3 KJV) "A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach; {3} Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous;"

not given to much wine

(1 Tim 3:8-9 KJV) "Likewise must the deacons be grave, not doubletongued, not given to much wine, not greedy of filthy lucre; {9} Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience."

little wine for thy stomach's sake

(1 Tim 5:23 KJV) "Drink no longer water, but use a little wine for thy stomach's sake and thine often infirmities."

bishop...not given to wine

(Titus 1:7-8 KJV) "For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not selfwilled, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre; {8} But a lover of hospitality, a lover of good men, sober, just, holy, temperate;"

aged men be sober, grave, temperate

(Titus 2:2 KJV) "That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience."

aged women...not given to much wine

(Titus 2:3 KJV) "The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;"

young women to be sober

(Titus 2:4-5 KJV) "That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, {5} To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed."

Young men likewise exhort to be sober

(Titus 2:6 KJV) "Young men likewise exhort to be sober minded."

gird up the loins of your mind, be sober

(1 Pet 1:13-16 KJV) "Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; {14} As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: {15} But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; {16} Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy."

lusts, excess of wine, revellings

(1 Pet 4:2-3 KJV) "That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God. {3} For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries:"

sober, and watch unto prayer

(1 Pet 4:7 KJV) "But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer."

Be sober, be vigilant

(1 Pet 5:8 KJV) "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:"
