(Luke 3:4-6 KJV) "As it is written in the book of the words of Esaias the prophet, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. {5} Every valley shall be filled, and every mountain and hill shall be brought low; and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough ways shall be made smooth; {6} And all flesh shall see the salvation of God."

Behold, they which are gorgeously apparelled, and live delicately, are in kings' courts. {26} But what went ye out for to see? A prophet? Yea, I say unto you, and much more than a prophet. {27} This is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee. {28} For I say unto you, Among those that are born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist: but he that is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he. "

I will send my messenger

"
(Mark 7:8-13 KJV) "For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do. {9} And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition. {10} For Moses said, Honour thy father and thy mother; and, Whoso curseth father or mother, let him die the death: {11} But ye say, If a man shall say to his father or mother, It is Corban, that is to say, a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; he shall be free. {12} And ye suffer him no more to do ought for his father or his mother; {13} Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye."
