"Defend our Chaplains' Constitutional Rights"

Dear Friend in Faith,

Barack Obama has just Declared War on Christian Chaplains in the military!

As the Washington Examiner reports, "In a stunning attack on the speech rights and free religious exercise of U.S. soldiers, the Obama administration has released a statement confirming the unthinkable: Any soldier who professes Christianity can now be court-martialed and may face imprisonment and a dishonorable discharge from the military...even if they are a military chaplain."

Already Christian Chaplains have been court-martialed, forced out of the U.S. military, been stripped of their military pensions, and even had their health benefits taken away ...

... for the "crime" of praying with soldiers and in public "In Jesus' Name."

That's right, Christian Chaplains in the U.S. military now face the full wrath of Obama's military "justice" for "daring" to pray in Jesus' name.

Many Christian Chaplains with whom I've spoken have been intimidated into remaining silent about their plight for fear of being "dishonorably" discharged from the military altogether.

Some of these Chaplains have even "gone underground" in a desperate effort to avoid punishment!

These are good Christian men who only want to serve their country and their God. And they are being persecuted by Barack Obama and his band of anti-Christian zealots!

It's an outrage.

That's why I'm writing to ask for your help today. Specifically, I need you to do two (2) things to support our Christian military Chaplains:

1. Please sign the [requested] enclosed "Defend our Chaplains' Constitutional Rights" Petition to Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts. Your Petition asks Chief Justice Roberts to take up the case of our military Chaplains and issue a clear ruling protecting the First Amendment religious rights of these Chaplains.

2. I'd also like you to please sign the [requested] enclosed "Prayer Card" to our persecuted Christian Chaplains. I will be personally meeting in private with several of these courageous and honorable military Chaplains as soon as possible. And I'd like to bring thousands of "Prayer Cards" to let these Chaplains know how much the American people appreciate their sacrifices for our country.

So please sign your "Defend our Chaplains' Constitutional Rights" Petition to John Roberts and your "Prayer Card" to help me fight back on behalf of our military Chaplains!

My friend, let me tell you exactly how dire this situation really is for our military Chaplains. Top officials from Barack Obama's Defense Department recently held a high level meeting with "fanatical anti-Christian activist Mikey Weinstein, who helped design the new punishments for Christians who commit the now-criminal offense of sharing their faith with others," per the Washington Examiner.

Associated Press reports Mikey Weinstein "says even a Bible on an officer's desk can amount to 'pushing this fundamentalist version of Christianity on helpless subordinates'" and is "urging the Pentagon to court martial officers whose subordinates feel they're being proselytized."

Breitbart News reports that Weinstein "is the head of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, and says Christians -- including chaplains -- sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ in the military are guilty of 'treason,' and of committing an act of 'spiritual rape' as serious a crime as 'sexual assault.' He also asserted that Christians sharing their faith in the military are 'enemies of the Constitution.'"

Treason? Spiritual rape? Enemies of the Constitution? That's what Barack Obama and his anti-Christian allies think of our Chaplains in the military!

My friend, you can't reason with people like this. Our only hope is to defeat them if we want to save our Christian Chaplains!

That's why I'm asking you to please sign the [requested] enclosed "Defend our Chaplains' Constitutional Rights" Petition to John Roberts and your "Prayer Card" to our persecuted Christian Chaplains RIGHT NOW.

I want to deliver tens of thousand of "Defend our Chaplains' Constitutional Rights" Petitions to John Roberts at the U.S. Supreme Court -- which is right across the street from our National Ministry Center!

Your "Defend our Chaplains' Constitutional Rights" Petition is urgently needed to help convince the Supreme Court to take up the case of our military Chaplains and issue a clear ruling protecting the First Amendment religious rights of these Chaplains.

And your "Prayer Card" for the persecuted Christian Chaplains is urgently needed to let these Chaplains who are in hiding right now know how much the American people appreciate their sacrifices for our country!

Can I count on you to help me fight this battle by signing and rushing back your "Defend our Chaplains' Constitutional Rights" Petition and your "Prayer Card"?

And can I count on you to support this critical work of Faith and Action's Military Religious Rights Project with a gift of at least $25?

Faith and Action and I have been fighting these kinds of religious freedom battles for more than 25 years.

We launched our Military Religious Rights Project specifically to fight for the religious rights of our military, who are under heavy assault from the Obama Administration and anti-Christian zealots.

I am hoping and praying that I can count on you for a donation of $25 to Faith and Action -- just $1 for every year we've been battling to protect religious rights.

Or, if you can possibly afford a larger donation, please rush $50, $100, $250, $500 or even $1000 or more to Faith and Action's Military Religious Rights Project to support this critical campaign to protect the religious rights of our military Chaplains.

Your gift of $25, $50, $100, $250, $500 or even $1000 or more will help us launch this campaign to stop the persecution of Christian Chaplains in the military.

Your gift will help us print, distribute and collect more of these "Defend our Chaplains' Constitutional Rights" Petitions and your "Prayer Cards".

We want to deliver at least 100,000 "Defend our Chaplains' Constitutional Rights" Petitions to the U.S. Supreme Court. And we want to deliver another 100,000 "Prayer Cards" to these persecuted Christian Chaplains that I'll be meeting with in the coming days.

Together this will cost our Military Religious Rights Project at least $50,000! That's why your contribution gift of at least $25 is so urgently needed for this historic effort!

Please help Faith and Action's Military Religious Rights Project defend Christian Chaplains in the military by sending an urgently needed gift of at least $25 -- just $1 for every year we've been fighting for religious freedom.

And please don't forget to rush me your signed "Defend our Chaplains' Constitutional Rights" Petition and your "Prayer Card" in today's mail.

Thank you very much, and God bless you.

Sincerely,

Rev. Rob Schenck

President

Defend our Chaplains'

Constitutional Rights

A Petition to Supreme Court

Chief Justice John Roberts

Dear Chief Justice Roberts,

Christian chaplains have been court-martialed, forced out of the U.S. military, been stripped of their military pensions, and even had their health benefits taken away, all because they prayed with soldiers and in public "In Jesus' Name."

Even worse, Christian chaplains have been intimidated into remaining silent about their plight for fear of being "dishonorably" discharged from the U.S. military altogether!

The fact that Christian chaplains in the U.S. military have faced the full wrath of military discipline for "daring" to pray in Jesus' name is a clear violation of their First Amendment religious freedom rights.

Therefore I, the undersigned citizen, do hereby respectfully request that you and the Supreme Court take up the case of our military chaplains and issue a clear ruling protecting the First Amendment religious rights of these chaplains.

Thank you and God bless you.

Dear Friend of Faith and Action,

Congressman John Fleming has now stated openly what you and I and our Faith and Action family all know to be true:

The While House is now endorsing

military reprimands of members

who keep a Bible on their desk

or express a religious belief.

This administration is aggressively hostile

towards religious beliefs.

And Congressman Fleming's clear and compelling evidence of President Barack Obama's attacks on the rights of Christians in the military keeps pouring in

·        The Air Force censored a video created by a chaplain because it include the word "God." The Air Force feared the word might offend other religions and atheists.

·        A service member received a "severe and possibly career-ending reprimand" for expressing his faith's religious position about homosexuality in a personal religious blog.

·        A senior military official at Fort Campbell sent out a lengthy email officially instructing officers to recognize "the religious right in America" as a "domestic hate group" akin to the KKK and Neo-Nazis because of its opposition to homosexual behavior.

·        A chaplain was relieved of his command over a military chapel because he would not allow same-sex weddings to take place in the chapel.

That's right, Christians in the U.S. military now face the full wrath of President Obama's military "justice" for "daring" to express their deeply held religious faith.

And their rights are under attack from President Obama and his allies!

It's an outrage.

That's why I'm writing to ask for your help today. Specifically, I need you to do two (2) things to support our Christian military Chaplains:

1. Please sign the [requested] enclosed "Support Religious Freedom" Petition to Congressman John Fleming. Congressman Fleming has introduced a Religious Liberty Amendment to the Defense Authorization bill that would protect the Christian rights of our military men and women. Your Petition supports this Religious Liberty Amendment and encourages the FULL Congress to pass it.

2. I'd also like you to please sign the [requested] enclosed "Prayer Card" to our Christian Chaplains under attack. I will be personally meeting in private with several of these courageous and honorable military Chaplains as soon as possible. And I'd like to bring thousands of "Prayer Cards" to let these Chaplains know how much the American people appreciate their sacrifices for our country.

So please sign your [requested] "Support Religious Freedom" Petition to Congressman Fleming and your "Prayer Card" to help me fight back on behalf of Christians in the military!

I want to deliver tens of thousand of Faith and Action's "Support Religious Freedom" Petitions to Congressman Fleming's office -- which is just minutes away from our National Ministry Center!

Your "Support Religious Freedom" Petition is urgently needed to help Congressman Fleming convince his fellow Members of Congress to protect the First Amendment religious rights of Christians in the military.

Congressman Fleming's Religious Liberty Amendment and his other efforts to defend the rights of Christians in the military would do just that.

But President Obama "strongly objects" to this Amendment, claiming it would have a "significant adverse effect on good order, discipline, morale, and mission accomplishment."

And with that clear signal you know that President Obama's allies in Congress are going to go full bore to DEFEAT this Religious Liberty Amendment.

So please rush me your signed "Support Religious Freedom" Petition to help us overcome this opposition and protect the rights of Christians in the military!

I am also asking for your signed "Prayer Card" for the Christian Chaplains under attack, to let these Chaplains who are in hiding right now know how much the American people appreciate their sacrifices for our country!

As I mentioned, I will be personally meeting in private with several of these courageous and honorable military Chaplains as soon as possible.

And I'd like to bring thousands of "Prayer Cards" to let these Chaplains know how much the American people support them in their time of need!

Can I count on you to help me fight this battle by signing and rushing back your "Support Religious Freedom" Petition and your "Prayer Card"?

And can I count on you to support this critical work of Faith and Action's Military Religious Rights Project with a gift of $25, $50, $100, $250, $500 or even $1000 or more?

As you know, Faith and Action and I have been fighting these kinds of religious freedom battles for 30 years.

With your help, we launched our Military Religious Rights Project specifically to fight for the religious rights of our military, who are under heavy assault from the Obama Administration and his anti-Christian allies.

I am hoping and praying that I can count on your CONTINUED backing -- in the form of a donation of at least $25 to Faith and Action -- to support this vital work on behalf of our Christian military men and women.

Or, if you can possibly afford a larger donation, please rush $50, $100, $250, $500 or even $1000 or more to Faith and Action's Military Religious Rights Project to support this critical campaign to protect the religious rights of Christians in the military.

Your gift of $25, $50, $100, $250, $500 or even $1000 or more will help us continue this critical campaign to stop the attacks on the rights of Christians in the military and support our Christian chaplains.

Your gift will help us print, distribute and collect more of these "Support Religious Freedom" Petitions for Congressman Fleming and these "Prayer Cards" for the military Chaplains.

We want to deliver at least 100,000 "Support Religious Freedom" Petitions to Congress. And we want to deliver another 100,000 "Prayer Cards" to these Christian Chaplains that I'll be meeting with in the coming days.

Together this will cost our Military Religious Rights Project at least $50,000! That's why your contribution gift of at least $25 is so urgently needed for this historic effort!

Support Religious Freedom

A Petition to Congressman John Flemming

Dear Congressman Flemming,

You have courageously been sounding the warning bell about President Obama's unconstitutional assaults on the rights of Christians in the U.S. military.

As you stated, "this administration is aggressively hostile towards religious beliefs that it deems to be politically incorrect."

And you have reported example after example of attacks on the rights of Christians in the military by the Obama Administration, to the degree where you say "the White House is now endorsing military reprimands of members who keep a Bible on their desk or express a religious belief".

I have been told by Faith and Action that you introduced a Religious – Freedom Amendment to protect the rights of Christians in the military. I've also been told that President Barack Obama "strongly objects" to it.

I, the undersigned citizen, do hereby FULLY SUPPORT your Religious Freedom Amendment and all future efforts to protect Christians in the military from further assaults on their rights by the Obama Administration. Please use this signed petition to rally a majority of Congress to join you in this cause.

Thank you and God bless you.
