He has been my lifelong hero, and he came to the U.S. seeking the American Dream --- arriving with nothing but the clothes on his back, $100 sewed into his underwear, and not knowing a single word of English.

My dad worked his way through college, became a small business owner, and is now a pastor. He came to America in pursuit of freedom and opportunity.

When I was little, my dad would ask me: "If we lose our freedom here [in America], where else will we go?" There is no other place to go!

Yet the American Dream that my dad so courageously fought to realize is now under attack in a way that our country has never seen.

Simply put, under the direction of Barack Obama and Harry Reid's Democrat Majority Senate... America is starting to look more and more like the big government tyranny my dad risked his life to escape.
