RE-CLASSIFY IT. HOOD
He shouted "Allahu Akbar!" and
then opened fire, murdering 12 U.S. Soldiers in cold blood at Fort Hood. At his trial, he testified that the Koran allows him
to kill "in the name of Islam."
So why is
our government REFUSSING to call him a terrorist -- and refusing "line of
duty" death benefits and Purple Hearts to the families of our slain
soldiers?
Dear Fellow American,
If
you're outraged that the Obama Administration refuses to classify the murder of
12 American soldiers at Fort Hood as a terrorist attack, please [request for
and] sign your RE-CLASSIFY FT. HOOD
petition and return it to me immediately in the enclosed reply envelope.
Remember,
on November
5, 2009 a Muslim-American
soldier named Nidal Hasan murdered 12 U.S. soldiers who were being processed for deployment to Afghanistan at Fort Hood, Texas.
The
Department of Defense classified the attacks as random "workplace
violence." But the facts tell a different story:
** Hasan yelled "Allah is the
greatest!" before opening fire on our soldiers.
** Hasan's
seized computer records show he discussed jihad and terrorist attacks with al
Qaeda leader Anwar al-Awlaki in the months leading up
to Ft. Hood.
** And Hasan admitted during his trial
that he believes "the Quran allows him to kill in the name of Islam."
It's
clear that Nidal Hasan committed a terrorist attack on U.S. soil -- yet the Obama Administration continues to
deny it.
Do
you know what that means? It means the families of these 12 slain soldiers are
being denied benefits awarded to soldiers killed in combat.
It
means the soldiers who survived the attack can not receive the Purple Hearts
they rightfully deserve for their line-of-duty wounds.
And
it means that America's enemies know that our Commander in Chief will not
fight back against terrorism even when it strikes us in our own back yard.
Now
you know why I've sent you this RE-CLASSIFY
FT. HOOD petition -- and why I'm counting on you to sign and return it to
me today.
Your
petition will pressure Congress to do what Obama refuses to: Declare Hasan's
attack a terrorist act.
Rep. Michael McCaul, Chairman of the
House Homeland Security Committee, agrees with me that Hasan's murder of 12 U.S. soldiers
"was clearly an act of terrorism."
That's why he and 225 other members of
Congress have introduced legislation that will force the federal government to
re-classify Ft. Hood as a
terrorist act and provide full
benefits to the soldiers and their families.
Your
[requested and] signed RE-CLASSIFY FT.
HOOD petition will let Congress know that Americans are watching to see
whether or not our elected officials will protect America's soldiers.
My
friend, it's been over four years since the attack. The families of these slain
soldiers haven't received a dime in military benefits.
Many of the wounded survivors have been forced to dip into their life's savings to
pay enormous medical bills. Several are learning to walk again even as Nidal's shrapnel is still embedded in their bodies.
And Hasan Nidal himself was found GUILTY
after he admitted during the trial that he was the gunman and pledged
allegiance to protecting Islamic "holy warriors."
That's
right, guilty -- after he was allowed to manipulate the U.S. military justice system and waste your tax dollars to
stall, delay, and evade his trial for four long years.
In
fact, the federal government wasted four
months alone debating whether or not Hasan should be forced to shave off
his beard for his court appearance. You read that right.
While our very own government denies
medical care, benefits and Purple Hearts to our slain and wounded American
soldiers... it spent millions of tax
dollars arguing about whether or not a terrorist who killed U.S. soldiers should shave his beard.
Enough is enough.
As
our Commander in Chief, Barack Obama must not be allowed to treat our soldiers
and their families with such open contempt.
He
must not be allowed to put our nation in harm's way. And he must not be allowed
to sweep terrorist attacks on U.S. troops under the rug to appease his Muslim friends.
That's
why I'm writing you today -- and why I'm counting on you to sign your RE-CLASSIFY FT HOOD petition and mail
it back to me right away.
My
name is Bill Donahue and I'm a Vietnam combat veteran who served 29 years in the Marine
Corps. I received two Purple Hearts and the Bronze Star (with "V" for
valor).
I'm
also the founder and President of United American Patriots (UAP) -- a
non-profit group I set up to defend our soldiers from an "enemy" I
never thought we'd have to face: Anti-military
bureaucrats in our very own government!
** When young soldiers are indicted for
their plit-econd actions in combat zones, UAP is
there to defend them.
** When our troops are arrested for
following orders in dangerous combat zones, UAP and I are there to provide
legal support for young soldiers who could never afford an attorney on an
enlisted man's salary.
** And today, when the families of our
slain Ft. Hood soldiers are denied death benefits and wounded
soldiers have to pay their own medical bills and are denied Purple Heart
honors... UAP and I are leading the charge to pressure Congress to right this
terrible wrong.
If
you agree that the Obama Administration must be forced to acknowledge that
Nidal Hasan's rampage was a terrorist attack and not "workplace

And

payable to United American Patriots. $32 is one dollar for every Fort Hood soldier and civilian who survived Hasan's attack.
