Your "page" is the  best that I have found for "post trib."  It at least give Scriptural refnences.  I won't say that I am "pre-trib," but I can't claim anything else close to what I have found in the Bible.  Could you explain how 1Thessalonians 1:10 can fit into "post trib"? "and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, that is Jesus, who delovers us from the wrath to come." I would appreciate your answer on this.

Bro Leslie.

I believe the answer is in Revelation 6:16-17 and 14:9-11 when Jesus comes to take the Church and the wrath of the Lamb comes on those who worship the beast and his image.

"And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:  For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?"  (Rev 6:16-17 KJV)
"And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name." (Rev 14:9-11 KJV)

Although there are previous plagues during the Great Tribulation, we will not be affected by any of them.  Satan will injure us but will not be able to take our souls.  Tribulation is not the wrath of God for us.  Tribulation is going to be a trouble time that comes from our enemy.

"Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble; but he shall be saved out of it." (Jer 30:7 KJV)

We will be saved out of it, but does not mean we won't have to go through it.  That is why it is called "Jacob's Trouble".  If we are alive when that time comes, being of the seed of Abraham in Christ, Jesus, we will be in that trouble too.

With love in Christ,
Al
