Al's reply:

We have become new creatures in Christ, old things have passed away, all things have become new, (2 Cor 5:17) and will be made new (Rev 21:5).  We are being transformed into the likeness of Christ (2 Cor 3:18).  When Jesus comes this next time to reap

"And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.  And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped."  (Rev 14:15&16 KJV)

His Church [Fulfillment of the seventh Jewish feast of ingathering (Study)], the Christian's change will be complete (Phil 3:20&21) and this is when mighty changes will occur in the heavens and on the earth (2 Pet 3:8-12).

"Gather yourselves together, yea, gather together, O nation not desired;  Before the decree bring forth, before the day pass as the chaff, before the fierce anger of the LORD come upon you, before the day of the LORD'S anger come upon you."  (Zep 2:1-2 KJV)

"Whose fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly purge his floor, and will gather the wheat into his garner; but the chaff he will burn with fire unquenchable."  (Luke 3:17 KJV)

"And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig tree."  (Isa 34:4 KJV)

"And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places."  (Rev 6:13&14 KJV)

We will meet the Lord in the air (1 Thes 4:15&16) as He prepares His creation for His Kingdom and New Jerusalem. This could be one of the reasons why God catches us up to meet Him in the air so He can continue those marvelous changes and while the wrath of the Lamb is revealed

"And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?" (Rev 6:16&17 KJV)

"And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle. And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe. And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God. And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs." (Rev 14:17-20 KJV)

after the seventh vial of the wrath of God

"And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.  And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great."  (Rev 16:17&18 KJV)

and great earthquake (Study).

1) You ask, where do Christians go after the rapture?  I believe the Bride goes to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb (only after the kingdom of God has come R)

"Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.  And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.  And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God."  (Rev 19:7-9 KJV)

in the New Jerusalem which is also called the Bride of Christ.

"...Come hither, I will show thee the bride, the Lamb's wife.  And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,"  (Rev 21:9b&10 KJV)

In Rev 21 it says John saw the New Jerusalem coming down from God out of heaven.

"And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.  And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband."  (Rev 21:1-2 KJV)

In this passage it seems this happens after the thousand year reign of Christ.  But then if you read in Rev 22:14&15 we find:

"Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.  For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie."  (Rev 22:14&15 KJV)

This seems to imply that there are sinners outside of the gates of the Holy City.  I believe some who have never known the Lord will have a chance to get saved after the Rapture.

"I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.  And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely."  (Rev 22:16&17 KJV)

The door will be shut on some whom the Lord did not know.

"And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.  Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.  But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not."  (Mat 25:10-12 KJV)

When Christ comes this next time and raptures His Bride, I believe we will be dwelling with Him in the New Jerusalem reigning over the earth.

"Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years."  (Rev 20:6 KJV)

After the thousand years are expired and the great white throne judgment,

"And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them."  (Rev 20:11 KJV)

there is mentioned a new heaven and earth for the New Jerusalem.

The last Jewish feast is the Feast of Tabernacles, when the Israelites stayed in booths (Lev 23:33-44).

"Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the feast of  tabernacles for seven days unto the LORD." (Lev 23:34 KJV)
"Ye shall dwell in booths seven days; all that are Israelites born shall dwell in booths:" (Lev 23:42 KJV)

"Thou shalt observe the feast of tabernacles seven days, after that thou hast gathered in thy corn and thy wine:" (Deu 16:13 KJV

The tabernacle of God dwelling with men will be the ultimate fulfillment of this feast.  We will dwell with the Lord in the New Jerusalem where the Lamb is the light.

"And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.  And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God."  (Rev 21:2&3 KJV)

"And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof."  (Rev 21:23 KJV)

To help confirm this fulfillment, the Israelites were to take palm trees, etc and rejoice before the LORD.

"And ye shall take you on the first day the boughs of goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and ye shall rejoice before the LORD your God seven days."  (Lev 23:40 KJV)

This helps to understand why the multitude have palms in their hands.

"After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;"  (Rev 7:9 KJV)

Like the 144,000 we will come back to the earth with Him after the rapture (Rev 14:14-16) and the wrath of the Lamb (Rev 6:15-17)

"And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads."  (Rev 14:1 KJV)

2) You also asked what Christians will be doing during the Great Tribulation?  I believe Christians will still be proclaiming the Gospel.

"And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,"  (Rev 14:6 KJV)

The end will not come until the gospel is preached unto all nations.

"And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come."  (Mat 24:14 KJV)

We also will be preparing for eternity with our God and Savior, Jesus Christ. Tribulations are a part of our Christian walk and the Great Tribulation will be another one but at a much greater scale.  We will be purified, and made white, and tried.

"Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand."  (Dan 12:10 KJV)

Just as Jesus told the church in Smyrna,

"Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life."  (Rev 2:10 KJV)

As we take prophesy and fit it together, a picture comes to mind of some end time events.

"For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.  But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away."  (1 Cor 13:9&10 KJV)
