Save Our Schools survey
Dear Fellow American,

letter] I'm sending you the [requested] enclosed 2014 Save Our Schools survey
because I've been told you're an American who agrees with me that our Founding
Fathers and conservative values should not be taken out of our schools.
Unfortunately,
the teachers unions and the U.S. Department of Education don't want it that
way. And for the past 50 years liberal bureaucrats and radical leftist teachers
have been erasing Founding Fathers from textbooks, banning the Bible from
classrooms, and rewriting real American History.
** New textbooks teach
that Paul Revere was a "terrorist," yet the 9-11 hijackers were "freedom
fighters."
** Lessons in real
American history are being cut back to make room for classes in Muslim studies
and Arab language.
** And recent surveys
show that high school students don't know that George Washington was the
general at Yorktown, what is written in the Emancipation Proclamation, or
even that our Congressmen serve 2-year terms.
Remember,
the majority of Americans send their children to government schools, including
90% of Christian families.
Which
means that even children from Judeo Christian homes, who attend these biased
schools, still receive 13 years of leftist indoctrination from
pro-big-government, anti-free enterprise teachers.
It's
no wonder young people --- are turning away from God and conservative values.
That's why I've sent this [requested] 2014 Save Our Schools survey... I
need to know... if your answer is YES or NO...
Either
"YES" – you agree the Left has too much power over what our children
are being taught in school and must be stopped.
Or
"NO" – you are content to let the radical Left and taxpayer-funded
teachers unions censor our conservative values in the schools our tax dollars
pay for...
In a
moment I'll tell you why your survey is so valuable. But first, let me quickly
explain why I am so concerned.
Public prayer at high school graduations
is banned. The Ten Commandments can't be displayed in classrooms. And most
high school students won't be able to identify Nathan Hale, Paul Revere, or Patrick Henry. Many of them don't even know it
was Thomas Jefferson who wrote the Declaration of Independence.
My
friend, when you and I went to school our teachers made-sure we
learned-American history. You and I knew who our Founding Fathers were – and
why they were important.
Today's teachers are hostile to our
Founders, who they love calling, "dead white men."
In a
recent poll conducted by Young America's Foundation, 80% of college professors
admitted that they were leftists. And 30% openly admitted that they teach
according to their own personal agendas in the classroom!
Today's
teachers are picking up where the 60's radicals left off. And the results are
disastrous...

Students at Palm Beach College in Florida had to go through a lengthy court battle just to win
the "right" to hand out fliers and speak about their conservative
values on campus.
Meanwhile,
100% of California public school students are now required BY LAW to
read about the "contributions" of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and
transgender people in their history textbooks.

Liberal publishers ignore Paul Revere and the Founding
Fathers in their textbooks but add obscure leftists such as Cesar Chavez,
Malcolm X, and others.
·
And in North Carolina, an elementary school ordered a first grader to
remove the following line from a poem she had written honoring her
grandfather's service in Vietnam: "He prayed to God for peace, he prayed to God
for strength."
My
friend, when did we become a nation that won't allow school children to talk
about praying to God for strength?
This
calculated liberal indoctrination of our young people must stop. And it must
stop now. That's why I've sent you your [requested] personalized 2014

WE REMEMBER VETERANS DAY 11/11/13
Dear Fellow American,
In
addition to being a commentator on TV, I've spent a good part of my career
making jokes and getting laughs.
But
today I'm writing to you in all seriousness about a shameful problem that is no
laughing matter. American children don't
know American history.
They don't know geography. They don't
know much about our country's founding principles.
And
as we approach Veterans Day, you should know that young people have no idea
what price our brave veterans have paid for our freedom.
80%
of young people have no idea who are enemies were during the Korean War. 72% of
students can't connect Adolph Hitler to the Second World War. And one in four
students doesn't even know who Hitler is!
I'm
angry but not surprised. After all, at the nation's top 55 colleges, students
can graduate without ever taking a single course in American history.
And
when 7,000 college seniors were given a basic American history test, the
average grade was 54.2%. That's a big fat "F."
My
own personal experience paints the same grim picture. I've spoken with young
people who can't even identify the Second World War. And one young person I
spoke with asked me, "Who won?"
It's
an alarming state of affairs when an entire generation of
young people have no idea what values America stands for... what our Founding Fathers fought for...
or what thousands of our men and women in the military continue to die for
every day.
But
let me tell you what are being taught in school. They are being taught
affirmative action, political correctness, multiculturalism, and moral
relativism.
That's
because the Left is hyperactive in reaching our kids with their socialistic
message.
UCLA's
Higher Education Research Institute found that once students walk onto a
typical American campus, they quickly become more liberal on key issues facing
our country.
And
after three years of leftist university indoctrination, the number of students
who never attend religious services doubles.
Make
no mistake. The Left has almost monopolized education. Administrators bombard
students with leftist messages from the moment they step on campus. Students
sit through lectures from Al Gore, Michael Moore, Bill Clinton, and many other
liberals.
While patriots such as Senator Rick Santorum and
bestselling author Katie Pavlich face roadblock after roadblock trying to get
your conservative voice heard on campus.
There
are no two ways about it . . . if we want our children and grandchildren to
learn unbiased American history, if we want them to learn about our
conservative values instead of being indoctrinated into a liberal lifestyle . .
. we've got to fight for it.
We've
got to do a better job than the Left at reaching the next generation or our
conservative values will be lost forever.
That's
why I'm writing to you today on behalf of Young America's Foundation, an
organization near and dear to my heart.
No
organization is working harder or with more success to pass on your conservative
values to a new generation of Americans.
Young
America's Foundation reaches young people with your conservative ideas through
their high school and college conferences, lecture program, seminars, and
training programs at the Reagan
Ranch, Reagan Ranch Center, and nationwide.
Young

I
wish you could meet some of the young people who come to the Foundation
lectures.
Young
America's Foundation doesn't preach to the choir. They are reaching young
