2014 MEDICARE CENSUS --
URGENT
Dear Trusted Friend,
As
Director of the National Senior Action Council I am asking you with a sense of
urgency, to complete the enclosed 2014 Medicare Census. This Census could be
the most important one of your lifetime. Because right now the future of America's health care is being decided.
I am
determined to provide the 113th Congress of the United States with the results of this Census to inform the choice
that will affect generations to come.
Please
be clear – this 2014 Medicare Census is being issued to a sampling of Americans
and less than 4% of the entire population will be allowed to participate. That
means that your urgent response is absolutely critical.
For
that reason, your 2014 Medicare Census has been registered to you, with a
unique Census number. This Number will only remain operational and valid for
the next 20 days from the original Census issue date.
You
are being asked to provide Congress with input that could very well determine
whether or not Medicare is reformed and made viable... or whether it is
dismantled and cut by $716 billion under ObamaCare.
Your
authorized Census Number will be valid for exactly 20 days from the Census
issue date. Do you think that Medicare is a political issue and should be made
into a partisan issue? Or do you think that Medicare is a sacred commitment
made by our government to America's seniors 49 years ago – a promise that must be kept?
If
you want your Medicare benefits to be improved and the entire program
solidified for generations to come, then it is imperative you complete your
2014 Medicare Census.
And
if you are questioning whether or not it is important for you to complete the
enclosed Census, I ask you to consider some facts you may not realize.
For
the past several years, the Social
Security and Medicare Trustees and the Federal Reserve Board have warned
Congress: Medicare reform MUST be a top priority to avoid the bankruptcy of
the entire system and an economic nightmare for America's seniors.
But
that warning has not been heeded. That dire warning has fallen on deaf ears.
Instead, Washington D.C. insiders – career politicians –- have decided that
Medicare is a political issue to be bantered around every election cycle...
with little to no reform done once they are re-elected.
And
right now these career politicians are blocking all real reform efforts – eager
to sacrifice the welfare of America's seniors to fund ObamaCare. That is why it is
absolutely critical that you complete your 2014 Medicare Census.
Washington lobbyists and career politicians want to block
Medicare reforms... all so the liberal establishment in Washington can take $716 billion from Medicare to fund
ObamaCare.
Your
responses on the enclosed 2014 Medicare Census will provide needed information
to direct Congress as to what the American people really want.
The
debate has centered on ObamaCare... with Medicare being relegated to an
afterthought or a place to look to make cuts and siphon more money to pay for
ObamaCare.
Conservative
leaders in both the House and Senate have been attempting to rescue Medicare from
the clutches of ObamaCare... they are working to save Medicare for American
seniors.
Like the Biblical story of Abraham who
was willing to sacrifice Isaac on the altar to show his love and obedience to
God... only a miracle will prevent America's seniors
from being sacrificed on the altar of ObamaCare.
And
I need you to be a crucial part of tipping the scales in our favor. With your
responses on the enclosed 2014 Medicare Census, you will provide Congress with
needed information to direct them towards Medicare reform...
versus
slashing programs and benefits to pay for ObamaCare.
The Obama Administration and the liberal
establishment in Washington have bailed
out the United States auto
industry. They have used taxpayer
money to bailout insurance companies
and take student loans under the umbrella of the government.
And
billions of dollars have been spent to bailout
Wall Street and major multi-national banks. Medicare is already operating
in the red.
And
under ObamaCare critical Medicare programs are being stashed – like home health
care, hospice care, some hospital visits... yet America's
seniors are not being bailed out.
In
fact, America's seniors are the sacrifice in this political shell
game. Do you want Medicare to be dissolved – or crucial programs cut to pay for
ObamaCare?
Unless
you take urgent action to provide immediate pressure for Medicare reform this
year, it will be slashed into oblivion. Congress cannot – MUST NOT – continue
to ignore Medicare.
Please
immediately complete your 2014 Medicare Census and return it to the National
Senior Action Council for processing with your generous contribution of $25,
$50, $100, $500, or even $1,000 to help.
Your
generous contribution, whether it is $25, $500 or more, will help the National
Senior Action Council protect your Medicare benefits – before it's too late.
The
National Senior Action Council could not send this Census to EVERY senior – you
have been selected to represent hundreds of thousands. Please respond.
You
have the honor of being one of the selected few to provide immediate input to
Congress. Please consider the cost of inaction could be our retirement security
and benefits (NSAC – FRC, P.O. Box 96424, Washington, D.C. 20090-6424).

for your participation,

DATE OF NOTIFICATION: DECEMBER 2013
BENEFICIARY:
HEALTH CARE WARNING
Dear Trusted Friend,
What
would you do if you received a letter saying that your doctor would no longer accept Medicare? What if you received health
care bills back in the mail saying that your recent doctor's visit or hospital stay would not be covered?
How
would you feel if you needed a special medical procedure, or were required to
go to a clinic for a routine procedure... but then you were told that none of it would be covered by Medicare?
That
is exactly what has already begun occurring. And if further cuts in
reimbursements to doctors and hospitals will result in even more doctors
refusing Medicare patients. It's terrifying to think that this is happening in
the United
States of America.
In 2014 there is another cut that is
slated to be implemented in Medicare reimbursements...
this time the cut is 24% – an amount that would make it not viable for many
physicians to continue to see Medicare patients.
Until
now, there have been periodic cuts to reimbursements. There have been bigger
cuts scheduled, but Congress has always avoided implementing them. This time
could be the exception.
Right
now, with the recent Social Security and Medicare Trustees report making it
clear that both programs are not sustainable – Congress is desperate for
solutions.
That
is why I am enclosing the National
Senior Action Council's form Med-A-D Health Care Protection Form. I am
issuing this form so that Congress knows that American Seniors do not want:
- Medicare benefits to lapse for any period of
time;
- delays in coverage
through any legislative delays;
- cuts to
reimbursements to doctors, hospitals, clinics or for medical services.
I
want to protect you, I want your voice heard, but I need your help to do so.
Never before has your health care been so compromised. That is why I am asking
you to:
1. Complete the enclosed questionnaire concerning
Medicare;
2. Please sign and date the form with the date listed
that you received this letter as well as the date you intend to return it to
the National Senior Action Council.
3. Use the provided routing envelope to assist in
processing for delivery to Congress.
4. Finally, I have included two stickers, a red "C"
and a blue "L." If
you are a conservative, please seal the back flap of the routing
envelope with the "C." If you are a liberal, please use the blue "L"
to seal the envelope.
Let
me be clear – the security of the future
of health care in America has nothing
to do with politics. I just need to
know whether to
forward your National Senior Action Council Med-A-D Health Care Form to the
Speaker of the House or to the House Minority Leader for action. Either way –
action must occur.
The
Social Security and Medicare Trustees report made it clear that inaction is not
an option. But that is what many in congress want – no action.
No
action to prevent doctors from cutting you. No action to protect health care
and prevent more cuts to Medicare spending as a way to pay for Obamacare. No
action to prevent the Medicare hospital trust fund from collapsing.
Your
national senior action council Med-A-D Health Care Protection Form makes it
clear that they must take action to protect Americas seniors.
If
more cuts are implemented this year, more doctors and hospitals will begin to
cut Medicare patients from their rosters and limit treatments. This could occur
sooner than you think – that is why it is critical I receive your NSAC Med-A-D
Health Care Protection Form for immediate delivery to congress.
Please
remember, after completing the NSAC Med-A-D Form, place it in the enclosed
envelope and either seal the flap with a red 'C' indicating it should go to the speaker of the house
or a blue 'L'
indicating it should be delivered to the house minority leader for action.
And
please, be sure to include generous contribution of $40 or $60 to support the National
Senior Action Council in the fight to protect social security and Medicare.
This
Congress will either move to protect your health care or make a move to undermine
it. Your $40 or $60 will support the NSAC in fighting to ensure you are
protected. Please respond promptly (NSAC – FRC,
P.O. Box 96424, Washington, D.C. 20090-6424).

gratitude for your support,

REGISTERED SOCIAL SECURITY
GUARANTEE FORM
1040SS ENCLOSED
DATE: February 2014
SOCIAL SECURITY RECIPIENT:
Dear Trusted Friend,
If
you are concerned about the future of your Social Security, then I ask you to
read this letter with care. Because the enclosed Registered Social Security
Guarantee Form can help to make the US Congress guarantee your future benefits.
Your
Social Security Guarantee Form will
be registered at the National Senior Action Council headquarters. But more than
that, your Social Security Guarantee Form will be copied and delivered to your
Representatives in the U.S. House of Representatives as well as the U.S.
Senate.
I
didn't want you to have to sign multiple documents, that is
why I am asking that you authorize the NSAC to copy your signed Social Security
Guarantee Form for delivery to both houses of Congress.
I
would normally never copy your signature, but... in this instance, with your
permission, I am saving you signing multiple copies and mailing those copies to
and from your home.
Let
me explain why your Social Security Guarantee Form could turn the tides in the
current Social Security debate. Perhaps you are watching the current budget
debates, worried that Social Security benefits could be cut to make up for the
budget shortfall or make up the deficit.
Maybe
like the Social Security and Medicare Trustees, you believe that it is
imperative that Social Security be modernized and put on sound financial
footing for future generations...
I
know that you want your Social Security benefits to continue uninterrupted. But
the current debate on Capitol Hill could greatly change the Social Security
program altogether.
In the past three years the deficit has
increased more than during any other time in our nation's history. In fact, the
deficit has increased more under this president than all of the other
presidents combined.
At
the same time, spending has skyrocketed to pay for expanded government programs
and the socialized health care system. What does this mean for you and me?
It
means that lawmakers are scrambling to find any area where they can make cuts. The Supreme Court recently ruled that
Social Security is just like any other government program – our government
is not required to pay out benefits or even to continue the program.
Right
now there are more people collecting Social Security benefits than are paying
into the system. And you realize that the Social Security Trust Fund which was
supposed to make up for shortfalls is absolutely empty.
For decades Congress has
been raiding the Trust Fund so that now when those funds are needed – there is nothing but worthless IOU's.
And our government is owing far too many people –
including foreign nations who could call their debts in at any time. That is
why your Social Security Guarantee Form is so important.
Representatives
in the House and Senators are now looking to make cuts in spending – even to
Social Security – and this must be stopped.
Make
no mistake, the future of your Social
Security will be decided this year – it will either face bankruptcy and be
dismantled or it will be fortified so that it remains solvent.
If
you value your Social Security and DO NOT CONSIDER IT OPTIONAL, then please
immediately sign the enclosed Social Security Guarantee Form.
And
give the NSAC permission to copy that form for delivery to both the U.S. House
and Senate, as well as keep a copy on file.
Given
the importance of the enclosed document, I am including a FIRST-CLASS
POSTAGE-PAID envelope for you to return it to NSAC headquarters.
Let
me be direct – if you put off signing this document, then the future of your
Social Security could very well be jeopardized.
Our
Congress is engaged in the most important debate of our lifetimes – looking to
determine whether the entire Social Security program should be dissolved, or
fortified so that your benefits continue.
And... when you return your Social Security Guarantee Form, please
also include your generous contribution of $60 to help the NSAC work with
conservative leadership in Congress to protect your benefits and preserve
Social Security for future generations.
Please
do not underestimate the importance of your actions today. Do not look back
with regret because you didn't get your Social Security Guarantee Form in on
time to impact this debate. Thank you (NSAC – FRC, P.O. Box 96424, Washington, D.C. 20090-6424).
Sincerely,
Denise
Singleton, Director
