Campaign to Undo ObamaCare

 

Dear Patriot,

 

I cannot thank you enough for all of your loyal support for Faith & Freedom Coalition (FFC). You have been such a wonderful friend. The battle to defeat ObamaCare is far from over. I know you agree with me on this...

 

Also, because you are such a loyal friend of Faith & Freedom, I wanted to be sure to include your answers in the enclosed 2014 Congressional Research Survey of 10,000,000 Voters on ObamaCare we are now conducting.

 

This is certainly the largest survey of voters yet conducted on the issue of ObamaCare. We will deliver a comprehensive report on the results of this survey to

 

• House Speaker John Boehner and the House Republican Leadership;

• Members of Congress and their key staff;

• All 50 governors and state lawmakers;

• President Obama and his top advisors;

• Federal judges, including the nine Justices on the U.S. Supreme Court;

• Radio talk show hosts and opinion columnists; and

• Major news organizations, including influential news websites and blogs.

 

. . . because this survey is so enormous, you can be sure the results will be studied carefully by America's elected leaders. The purpose of this survey is to . . .

 

1) Shore up the courage of Republican House Speaker John Boehner to immediately HALT federal funding for ObamaCare (as the House has the power to do under the Constitution);

 

2) Show the 50 governors (30 of whom are Republican) that it will be popular with voters if they simply refuse to use state taxpayer money to pay for ObamaCare (as the Supreme Court has now ruled the Governors can do);

 

3) Send a powerful message to conservative candidates for Congress and the Senate in 2014 that they would do well to make ObamaCare the main issue and focus of the 2014 mid-term Congressional Elections (as we saw in the 2010 mid-term Elections when conservatives achieved sweeping victories at every level of government);

 

4) Send a clear message to the National GOP Establishment that they made a huge mistake in 2012 by dropping the ObamaCare issue. (As a result, voters mostly forgot about the disaster of ObamaCare when voting in 2012); and

 

5) Help us identify, educate, and mobilize tens of millions of voters to send a strong message to Congress, all 50 Governors, President Obama, and to elected officials that the overwhelming majority of Americans want ObamaCare repealed.

 

As you will see from reading this letter, we have many powerful tools at our disposal to undo ObamaCare. And we have a detailed Battle Plan & Strategy to do just this — which I will explain more fully in a moment.

 

As you already know, with more than 700,000 members and supporters, Faith & Freedom is now America's largest organization educating and mobilizing conservative Christian voters for effective political and civic action.

 

Faith & Freedom was founded in 2009 with the specific mission of STOPPING Barack Obama and his radical agenda for America and to restore Constitutional government to our great Republic.

 

Faith & Freedom believes in the central proposition of America's founding document — our Declaration of Independence, which states as follows:

 

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."

 

In 2012, Faith & Freedom conducted the largest Christian voter registration, education, and turnout campaign ever seen in America's history. In all, Faith & Freedom made 155.2 MILLION contacts with Christian voters to explain what was at stake in the 2012 Election and why we have a moral duty to save America by voting.

 

THE RESULT:  We were able to increase conservative Christian voter turnout in the 12 key "swing" states from 22 to 27 percent of the electorate - which translates to adding 2,700,000 votes to the conservative side in the 2012 Election.

 

In other words, Faith & Freedom did its job by increasing conservative Christian voter turnout by 18 percent in the key "swing" states over what it was in 2008.

 

Unfortunately, other elements of the GOP coalition stayed home on Election Day. So President Obama managed to win a narrow tactical victory by spending more than $1 BILLION.

 

Our Biggest Wins So Far

 

Faith & Freedom had tremendous success in the 2010 mid-term Congressional Elections, where we saw sweeping conservative victories at every level of government.

 

In the 2010 mid-term Elections, Faith & Freedom made 58 million contacts with Christian voters (either via postal mail, a phone call, an email, text messages, a VOTER GUIDE, and/or a personal visit).

 

Using this same strategy, Faith & Freedom also played a key role in helping Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker win his recall election in June of 2012.

 

Faith & Freedom helped Scott Walker withstand a $45 MILLION assault from the Left and the Big Labor Unions . . . because of the "ground game" we built, mainly through the churches. Unfortunately, we came up short in 2012 against Obama's massive $1 BILLION re-election machine.

 

Why Obama Won Re-Election in 2012

 

It's my view that the National Republican Party is (and has been) making a huge strategic blunder by talking only about the economy, when we need to be showing voters how radical Obama really is.

 

Barack Obama has promised to "fundamentally transform" America. His agenda for America's future is clearly socialist (or worse). Most Americans don't want to "fundamentally transform" America into Barack Obama's socialist vision. That's what the 2012 Election should have been about. But it wasn't.

 

I also believe the National GOP made a huge mistake by stopping almost all talk of ObamaCare in 2012 - even though focusing on the disaster of ObamaCare produced sweeping conservative victories at every level of government in the 2010 mid-term Elections.

 

Had the National GOP continued to focus voter attention on ObamaCare, I believe Barack Obama would have been a one-term President.

 

Barack Obama managed to eek out a very narrow tactical re-election victory in 2012 because he had a superior "ground game," and he was able to maximize voter turnout in the urban areas.

 

Faith & Freedom is the only organization on the conservative side that's emphasizing building a "ground game" that can match the "ground game" of Barack Obama, the Big Labor Unions, and the Left.

 

We had great success in the 2010 mid-term Elections. We also had great success with Governor Scott Walker's recall election in June of 2012. We fell short in the 2012 Presidential Election.

 

There are now a number of Republican leaders who are saying the problem is our conservative principles. I could not disagree more. We win elections when we emphasize our conservative, pro-freedom, pro-Constitution principles. We lose when our candidates try to sound more like liberals.

 

The great Ronald Reagan proved this truth over and over again: Reagan won by emphasizing his conservative (small government) agenda, not by downplaying it.

 

Reasons for Optimism

 

Despite the disappointment of the 2012 Election, I am actually very optimistic about the future. Here's why.

 

In the sixth year of a Presidency, the President's party almost always suffers massive defeat in the mid-term Congressional Elections which are coming up very quickly in 2014.

 

I think that will happen again this time — IF Faith & Freedom is able to carry out its Battle Plan for 2013 and 2014. We then enter the 2016 Presidential Election cycle when I expect we'll have a very strong line-up of solid conservative, pro-Constitution candidates.

 

But a huge key to victory in the 2014 mid-term Congressional Elections (and then the 2016 Presidential Election) is to get back to focusing voter attention on what a disaster ObamaCare really is for America — and to hold accountable in the 2014 mid-term Congressional Elections those members of Congress who voted for ObamaCare.

 

Faith & Freedom now has 700,000 members and supporters. We need to double this number to 1,400,000 over the next 12 months and have at least one Faith & Freedom chapter in every Congressional district. That's how we match and surpass the "ground game" of the Big Labor Unions and the Left.

 

So I believe we will see sweeping conservative victories at every level of government in the 2014 mid-term Congressional Elections (just like we saw in 2010)—IF we do our job and keep building Faith & Freedom.

 

My expectation is that President Obama's approval rating will be in the 30's by the time the 2014 mid-term Congressional Elections arrive.

 

We'll have an $18 TRILLION national debt on Election Day in November of 2014. And many economists are now saying we are tipping into another Obama-created recession.

 

The key for us is to concede no more legislative victories to Obama and the Left. Conservatives still control the U.S. House of Representatives. President Obama can't pass anything into law unless the conservative majority in the House caves under pressure and gives Obama what he wants.

 

Faith & Freedom will be mobilizing our 700,000 members and supporters to pressure their Representatives in Congress (with phone calls and letters) to "HOLD THE LINE" by not allowing any more of Barack Obama's radical proposals to pass into law . . . until conservative reinforcements arrive in the 2014 mid-term Congressional Elections.

 

Why ObamaCare is so Dangerous

to America's Survival as the "Land of the Free"

 

This will be Faith & Freedom's primary focus because ObamaCare truly is one of the gravest threat to freedom our nation has faced.

 

ObamaCare sets up a Soviet-style health care bureaucracy that will destroy freedom in America and wreck our health care system if it's allowed to take root and spread like a cancer into every area of American life. ObamaCare . . .

 

o Requires the hiring of 16,000 brand new IRS agents to enforce the 2,700-page law;

 

o Establishes 159 brand new government agencies to administer the program; and

 

o Includes 21 new taxes and tax increases.

 

Barack Obama is out to "fundamentally transform" the American system (his words) — including our Constitutional structure of government. The engine that's driving this fundamental transformation of our society is without question ObamaCare.

 

Communists and socialists have always known that the fastest and surest way to move a country into socialism is through socializing medicine — that is, by putting a country's health care system under government control.

 

Vladimir Lenin, the founder and architect of the Soviet Communist state said, "Socialized medicine is the keystone to the arch of the socialist state."

 

Lenin and the Communists knew that once you control people's access to health care and medical treatment, you control their lives. The Left here in America is well aware of this also.

 

When radio host Paul W. Smith asked liberal Congressman John Dingell (D-MI) why it will take the government until 2014 to fully set up the ObamaCare system, Dingell said this:

 

"It takes a long time to do the necessary administrative steps that have to be taken to put the legislation together to control the people."

So ObamaCare has nothing to do with making health care more affordable or better. ObamaCare is all about setting up a vast government bureaucracy to "control the people." No wonder Cuba's Communist dictator Fidel Castro hailed the passage of ObamaCare as "a miracle."

 

No wonder the late Communist dictator of Venezuela, Hugo Chavez, called Obama "Comrade Obama" and said in a speech that he believed Obama might be even farther Left than himself and Castro.

 

In other words, when Barack Obama told us in 2008 that he was out to "fundamentally transform" America, he meant it. And he's doing it primarily through ObamaCare.

 

Our Four-Part Battle Plan to End ObamaCare

 

The good news is, we have a realistic and doable FOUR-PART Battle Plan to END ObamaCare.

 

PART ONE:  The U.S. House of Representatives can simply refuse to fund ObamaCare.

 

The U.S. House of Representatives is still under conservative majority control. Under the Constitution, all funding for the federal government must originate in the House. So the House has the authority to simply not fund ObamaCare.

 

House Speaker John Boehner and the House Republican Leadership just need the courage to say "NO" to ObamaCare — that is, to stop ObamaCare from receiving another penny of taxpayer money.

 

Just doing this would stop ObamaCare dead in its tracks . . . until we have a new President and enough votes in the Senate to fully repeal ObamaCare.

 

This is why your survey is so important — so we can show Speaker Boehner why immediately stopping funding for ObamaCare will be very popular with the voters essential for the 2014 mid-term Congressional Elections.

 

But there are still more ways we can stop ObamaCare, even while Obama is still President. The law has a number of structural flaws Obama and the Left overlooked when they were writing it.

 

PART TWO:  The Supreme Court ruled in 2012 that the federal government has no authority to compel the states to pay for or administer ObamaCare.

 

ObamaCare passes many of the costs of the program onto the states. This was part of the legislative trickery Obama and the Left in Congress engaged in to make ObamaCare appear less costly than it really is.

 

Obama wanted to be able to say the cost of ObamaCare is under a TRILLION dollars — when the true cost of this enormous program is actually many TRILLIONS of dollars.

 

But in 2012, the Supreme Court ruled that the federal government has no authority under the U.S. Constitution to force the states to pay for or administer ObamaCare.

 

Specifically, the Supreme Court ruled that forcing the states to pay for or administer ObamaCare is a violation of the Constitution's TENTH AMENDMENT and sovereignty of the states.

 

In other words, this ruling wiped out one of the primary mechanisms by which ObamaCare is supposed to be funded and administered — IF the governors of the states simply refuse to pay for or administer ObamaCare.

 

So a big part of Faith & Freedom's strategy is to persuade most of the 50 governors (30 of whom are Republican) to refuse to cooperate with ObamaCare. If the governors take a stand against ObamaCare, the program becomes unworkable.

 

Governor Rick Perry has already announced that Texas will not pay one penny to expand Medicaid and will not set up the ObamaCare "exchanges."

 

So far, at least 20 governors have indicated they are not inclined to go along with ObamaCare. Even some Democrat governors have expressed dismay at how much ObamaCare will cost their states.

 

We at Faith & Freedom are mobilizing our 700,000 members and supporters (plus millions of other Americans) to write and call their governor and state Representative to demand that they not spend one penny of state taxpayer money on ObamaCare.

 

PART THREE:  Additional Supreme Court Constitutional challenges to ObamaCare.

 

Faith & Freedom is supporting two more lawsuits challenging the constitutionality of ObamaCare. These lawsuits hold out great promise for overturning much of ObamaCare as unconstitutional.

 

Yes, the Supreme Court shockingly ruled in 2012 that the ObamaCare requirement of purchasing health insurance is allowable under the taxing power of the federal government. But the Court also ruled that ObamaCare has no authority to force the states to cooperate with ObamaCare. So that was a mixed ruling.

 

But now Faith & Freedom is supporting more than 70 Catholic and other Christian organizations who have filed a lawsuit in federal court challenging the requirement that Christian and pro-life Americans purchase health insurance that includes coverage for abortion-inducing drugs clearly a violation of the Constitution's FIRST AMENDMENT protection of freedom of religion and conscience.

 

ObamaCare regulations also appear to require pro-life doctors and hospitals to perform abortions if they want to stay in the medical field. So this is also a clear violation of the Constitution's First Amendment.

 

The second lawsuit Faith & Freedom is supporting is one launched by the state of Oklahoma (now joined by other states) which argues that ObamaCare is unconstitutional because.

 

o The Constitution requires all tax legislation to originate in the House. The Supreme Court ruled in 2012 that the "Individual Mandate" to purchase health insurance is a tax, but this aspect of ObamaCare originated in the Senate so is therefore unconstitutional and illegal.

 

o Much of ObamaCare is supposed to be enforced by the IRS. But the writers of the ObamaCare law simply forgot to write the proper language into ObamaCare granting the IRS this statutory authority. The IRS can't enforce anything without explicit statutory authority.

 

o The Obama Administration is expecting the IRS to grant tax-credits and subsidies to low-income Americans so they can purchase health insurance. But the ObamaCare law includes no statutory authority for the IRS to do any of this either. So the law is also unworkable on these grounds.

 

In other words, there are some serious flaws in the way the ObamaCare law was written and many legal experts now believe they are fatal flaws.

 

PART FOUR:  Make ObamaCare the key issue of the 2014 mid-term Congressional Elections.

 

Inexplicably, the National GOP leadership has, for the most part, stopped talking about ObamaCare.

 

If repealing ObamaCare had been the focus of the 2012 Election, I have no doubt Barack Obama would have been a one-term President. Instead, the Romney campaign and the National GOP leadership mostly ignored ObamaCare in 2012. So the voters forgot about ObamaCare in 2012 (which is just now starting to go into effect).

 

Republicans achieved sweeping victories in the 2010 mid-term Congressional Elections by making the disaster of ObamaCare the key issue. We can achieve sweeping victories again in 2014 if we focus the attention of voters on what a disaster ObamaCare really is.

 

ObamaCare is being implemented right now and becomes more unpopular with each passing week.

 

Throughout 2013 and 2014, Faith & Freedom will be using radio, direct mail, email and VOTER GUIDE distribution to make sure voters know exactly how their Representatives voted on ObamaCare and we will be specifically targeting those Representatives who voted for ObamaCare who represent conservative "swing" states and districts.

 

Why Your Donation Is Urgently Needed

 

As you can see, we have many tools at our disposal to DEFEAT ObamaCare. And we at Faith & Freedom are using all these tools right now to throw sand in the gears of ObamaCare and render ObamaCare unworkable — until we have a new Senate and a new President and can fully repeal ObamaCare.

 

As the reality of ObamaCare starts to break through to voters, it's my prediction that ObamaCare will soon become so unpopular that even many Democrats will want to get rid of ObamaCare — especially as we approach the 2014 mid-term Congressional Elections.

 

And as the 21 new ObamaCare taxes and tax increases begin to kick in (plus the avalanche of onerous ObamaCare regulations that will be hitting in 2013 and 2014) we'll have a powerful issue to use against any liberal members of Congress who voted for ObamaCare.

 

In other words, the battle to UNDO, DEFEAT, and ERASE ObamaCare is far from over. In fact, Faith & Freedom Coalition has just begun to fight. But we urgently need your help and support right now if we are win this battle.

As a result, the Obama Administration has already announced that the implementation of the ObamaCare "exchanges" in the states will be delayed by at least a year.

 

So our strategy of using every tool at our disposal to throw sand in the gears of ObamaCare is working . . . until we have a new Senate and a new President so we can fully repeal this disastrous 2,700-page law.
