Supreme Court voted unanimously against the Obama Administration

Dear Friend of Faith and Action,

(1-2014 letter) Will you please sign the [requested] enclosed "Thank You for Standing Up for Religion" Card to Chief Justice John Roberts and the other Supreme Court Justices?

Chief Justice Roberts and a unanimous U.S. Supreme Court have pointedly told the Obama Administration that it may NOT trample the religious rights of churches!

My friend, it is rare that we have the ENTIRE U.S. Supreme Court stand up and make such a clear statement in favor of religious rights in America.

But it was also CRITICAL that the Supreme Court intervened and stopped the Obama Administration's outrageous intrusion in our churches!

You and 1 need to let Roberts and the Supreme Court know how much we appreciate their unanimous, staunch stand for a church's religious rights!

So please sign and return your "Thank You for Standing Up for Religion" Card to Chief Justice Roberts and the U.S. Supreme Court.

The Obama Administration reached a new low when they started using the power of the government to tell churches who they could and could not hire as ministers.

That's right. The Obama Administration's Department of Justice declared that the long-standing religious rights of churches -- clearly outlined in the U.S. Constitution -- was no longer the law of the land.

National Review reports that the Obama Administration was "even more hostile" to the religious rights of churches in this case than the anti-religious "Americans United for Separation of Church and State and the ACLU!"

But the Supreme Court voted unanimously against the Obama Administration to protect a church's religious rights.

The Supreme Court said:

"We cannot accept the remarkable view that the Religion Clauses have nothing to say about a religious organization's freedom to select its own ministers... It is impermissible for the government to contradict a church's determination of who can act as its ministers."

Even Barack Obama's own Supreme Court Justices -- Sofia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan -- voted against him! Even the former general counsel of the ACLU, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg, voted against Barack Obama!

It really was a stunning victory for our side!!!

My friend, this unanimous Supreme Court decision could be a strong weapon in our battle to push back against the ENTIRE Obama Administration's war against religion.

That's why I'm really hoping you'll take a moment to sign your "Thank You" Card to Chief Justice Roberts and the Supreme Court -- who have gone out on a limb and taken such a courageous stand for our church's religious rights.

And we need to encourage ALL of the Supreme Court Justices to continue to stand up for our religious rights!

There are many other religious rights battles headed to the U.S. Supreme Court -- from voluntary prayer in schools to Ten Commandments displays in courtrooms to Nativity Scenes in the public square.

We've won one major battle for religious rights. But we have many more to go at the Supreme Court...

Faith and Action and I have been fighting these battles for religious freedom for 25+ years. In fact, our national headquarters is located directly across the Street from the U.S. Supreme Court building and minutes from Capitol Hill just so we can respond to any legal or legislative action at a moment's notice!

Faith and Action has a long history of working to bring God's word to bear on the hearts and minds of our public policy makers here in Washington, D.C.

I've had the honor to speak with several members of the United States Supreme Court, reminding them how important prayer and spiritual guidance are to our nation's leaders.

I have also met with countless congressmen, senators, governors, mayors and other elected officials all across America, promoting our religious freedoms (Faith and Action and I have distributed over 400 stone plaques of the Ten Commandments to these government leaders).

Faith and Action gets results!

But we need your help to get these results! We need you to join with Faith and Action to thank the Supreme Court for ruling in favor of our religious rights!!!

Can I count on you to [requested for,] sign and return your "Thank You for Standing Up for Religion" Card to Chief Justice Roberts and other Supreme Court Justices?

And can I count on you to support the critical work of Faith and Action with a gift of $25, $50, $100, $250, $500 or even $1000 or more?

Your gift of $25, $50, $100, $250, $500 or even $1000 or more will help Faith and Action launch this full-scale campaign to thank the Supreme Court Justices and continue to support them as they defend our religious rights in court.

Your gift of $25 or more will help us print, distribute and collect tens of thousands of our "Thank You" Cards to Chief Justice Roberts and the other justices.

The more "Thank You" Cards we collect and deliver to the Supreme Court, the more effective we will be in encouraging all of the justices to continue to rule in favor of our religious rights!

Your gift will also help Faith and Action continue with our other critical projects to defend our religious liberties and advance Biblical Truth on Capitol Hill.

Remember, it was thanks to gifts from Americans like you that Faith and Action was able to meet with President Bush and several Supreme Court justices to promote religious freedom and liberty.

Thanks to gifts from Americans like you, Faith and Action was able to present over 400 stone tablets of the Ten Commandments to public officials across America defending our religious rights.

Thanks to the generous gifts from Americans like you, I've had the chance to personally lead several national leaders into a relationship with Jesus Christ.

And thanks to the generous gifts from Americans like you, Faith and Action was able to personally meet with and bestow our "Leadership Award" to House Speaker John Boehner.

So please, help Faith and Action continue our critical work by sending an urgently needed gift of at least $25, along with your signed "Thank You for Standing Up for Religion" Card to Chief Justice Roberts and the other Supreme Court Justices.

Of course, a major contribution gift of $50, $100, $250, $500 or $1000 or more makes us even more effective. Together, we will support the Supreme Court Justices as they defend the religious rights of Americans! Thank you very much, and God bless you.

Sincerely,

Rev. Rob Schenck,

President
