Has his recklessness gone too far?

Dear Sir,

Do you feel betrayed?

Has the radically liberal regime in Washington, led by a president who thinks he's above the law, Barack Obama, generated a deep concern for our nation's future – the future of your family and friends?

Have you a sense that Barack Obama has created such chaos at home and overseas that we are vulnerable to terrorist attacks of all kinds and from many different countries and radical groups?

I honestly wish I could say your feelings were off the mark. But if it's one thing you know as a Charter Member of the Freedom Center, it's that I won't sugarcoat the facts.

Enclosed is the 2014 Freedom Center State of the Nation Survey. I need you to complete it and return it to me as soon as possible.

What I want to do is get a true reading of your sense of where our nation is today in Barack Obama's sixth year in the White House. With your answers, and those of your fellow Charter Members, we can go to conservative leaders and candidates and tell them what worries you most about Obama's work to "fundamentally transform" America.

I also need your support for the Center's work in the weeks ahead. When you return your Survey, I'm asking you to make a contribution of $25 or at least $15 to help us meet our 2014 budget goal of $6.7 million.

. . . his is a critical year. The Center's mission has always been to expose the left's agenda; to inform the American people of the nature and consequences of uber-liberal initiatives; and now with this survey project, to give conservative leaders and candidates an understanding of your concerns about the future of our nation. For example:

· What concerns you most about the gross lawlessness of this president? His emperor-like attitude? His willingness to "do whatever" he likes? His using government agencies like the EPA and the IRS to destroy those he sees as enemies – to audit and harass conservatives? His allowing our military to wither away while he casts out upper echelon generals and admirals and keeps those who favor his frightening agenda?

· As we shed light on the left's anti-America plans, we will reveal who is fighting for and funding the massive effort to destroy America's free enterprise system. The Center's DiscovertheNetworks.org gives detailed information about the billionaires and "nonpartisan" foundations that are paying to ruin our economy.

· What lies behind Obama's irrational effort to give amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants? Organizations and individuals on the left and right are pushing for this. Yet a Gallup Poll found only 3% of Americans outside of Washington, D.C. have any interest in the issue.

· Why did Barack Obama hide his secret dealings with Iran and all but guarantee that the leading terrorist nation in the world would have nuclear weapons? The Center's Robert Spencer has been predicting this for years. Every move Obama makes empowers Middle Eastern radicals – like Iran, the Muslim Brotherhood, and Hamas – abandons Middle Eastern moderates, and pushes our closest ally, Israel, closer to the brink of extinction.

In fact, Obama recently placed Robert Malley on his National Security Council. Malley is a longtime hater of Israel with strong, sympathetic ties to the terrorist organization Hamas. Malley was fired from Obama's 2008 campaign for secretly meeting with Hamas leaders.

The list of how much the left has accomplished since Obama was elected in 2008 is staggering. All the while, he's followed the Marxist playbooks created by the rabidly liberal professors Saul Alinsky, Frances Fox Piven, and Richard Cloward.

These three avowed America-hating radicals prescribed scenarios of chaos that would ultimately collapse our economy, end our free enterprise system, and give government near-total control of our lives.

The Alinsky plan calls for organizing urban neighborhoods to demand unreasonable changes from local businesses and governments. Barack Obama began his political life as a "community organizer."

Cloward and Piven take this a step further. The "Cloward-Piven Strategy of Manufactured Crisis" seeks to hasten the fall of capitalism by overloading the government bureaucracy with a flood of impossible demands, thus pushing society into crisis and economic collapse.

When you put Alinsky and Cloward-Piven together, it becomes clear why Barack Obama and the uber-left took control of our health care system, exploded our national debt to more than $17 trillion, shrank our workforce to 1978 levels, increased the welfare rolls . . .

Why they want amnesty for tens of millions of illegal immigrants and to give them free health care, food stamps, and Social Security benefits . . and shamelessly trample the Constitution every step of the way.

Obama's lawlessness and the left's crazy agenda have one goal: utter chaos.

Today you and I can see the extent to which Obama and the left have followed those templates. It is the most blatant betrayal of the American people ever carried out by one of our presidents.

The damage done to our national security apparatus and our military is frightening. Just look at what Obama's disregard for our safety or his constitutional duty to protect us from all enemies has done to the FBI, Homeland Security, even our military.

Six individuals with direct ties to the violent terrorist group Muslim Brotherhood hold influential posts in the FBI and Homeland Security. Early in February of this year, Obama actually met with one of the Brotherhood's top advisors, Anas Altikriti, in the Oval Office. Altikriti's father heads the Iraq Muslim Brotherhood.

Even Obama's Pentagon has lost sight of its constitutional mandate and your best interests. Advisors to the military have won a concession to allow Muslims to wear turbans and "appropriate beards" for "religious" purposes.

Ultimately, we learned precisely what Obama thinks of our Constitution when he was overheard saying to France's President Francois Hollande: "I'm the president. I can do whatever I like."

. . . all of this is highly upsetting. Angering. But don't despair!
