About Book

Last Trump Gathering Bible Studies Volume One Volume One is a series of Bible studies (and one important message) from my website that I commenced to build in 1997. It is full of well thought-out observations, Bible quotations, paraphrases and Bible references dealing with prophecy. Mainly with its information I am hoping God will put the Sword (Word of God) through the heart of another theory, (like the Gap and Day-Age theories) which has crept into the Church's doctrine and has sought to defile the Word of God with its doctrinal germ, and perhaps put to sleep the Pre-Tribulation Rapture and Left Behind theology that has helped cause Saints, including myself, to go astray and backslide.

About Author

Al with Bible I am one of five children born (second to my twin sister) in Independence, LA on October 25, 1950. After about six years when neither Mom nor Dad were able to care for us, we, which includes two sons and two of three daughters, were placed into the LA Baptist Children's Home where the groundwork for me knowing the Lord was laid. After about eight years, four of us moved in again with our parents. On November 22, 1970 I was drafted into the Army and was honorably discharged on November 22, 1972 at Ft. Bliss, TX. after I completed a two year term. In 1972 during my final days in Germany, I met the LORD; and during the last few months in the military, I got to know Jesus Christ thanks to those who relayed the Gospel to me at Bel Air Baptist Church in El Paso, TX. In January, 1973, with only nine years of school and a G.E.D., I stepped into Hyles-Anderson Bible College where I grew more into a bolder Christian. After leaving college I continued witnessing to virtually everyone I made contact with. I learned about rejection and persecution from first hand experience. From 1979 to 81 I received 71 credit hours at LA Southeastern University. In 1985 I was married to Cynthia Ann Goza, and I went into the Army Reserves for three years. From 1986 to 88 I received 2600 hours of electronic training at Hammond Area Vocational School. In 1994 I received my CDL truck driving license after being trained at Coastal College and tested. In 1997 during my in-depth study of the Word of God, I found truths that needed to be relayed in some way or another. The Lord first led me to building a website; and then, approximately four years later, I started turning some of its material into my first Bible study book.

(Part of) When Studying the Word

Determine if the Literal Meaning Is or Not Intended

There are some important facts to consider when reading and studying a portion of the Word. One first needs to determine if the literal meaning is intended, and if not there could be a figurative one. When the LORD God revealed Himself and gave His messages, it was by His Son (Heb 1:1-5), angels, prophets, His Word, revelations (2 Cor 12:1-4), dreams, visions (Num 12:6), similitudes (Hosea 12:10), likenesses (Ezek 1:5-6, 10), images (Heb 10:1), parables, (riddles) proverbs (Hab 2:6) and etc. But then He spoke unto Moses face to face (Deu 34:10), as a man speaks unto his friend (Exo 33:11), mouth to mouth, plainly, clearly and not in dark speeches (riddles). And he beheld the similitude of the LORD (Num 12:7-8).

(Part of) The Last Trump

After the Great Tribulation (Mat 24:29-31)

After the Great Tribulation, the heavens and earth will be shaken, 26 and our Faithful, True and Righteous Lord and Savior (Rev 19:11-16 27) will appear the second time (Heb 9:28), coming in the clouds of heaven. 4 And He will send His angels with a great sound (phone:G5456) of a trumpet (salpigx:G4536) and they will gather together – Feast of Ingathering (Exo 23:16) – His elect from the four winds, from heaven (Mat 24:30-31; Rev 6:9) and earth (Mark 13:27). All who make up the Church (Acts 20:28 6), which include Saints, will be in this first reaping (Rev 14:14-16). Other descriptions add, which are also briefly paraphrased: In the days of the voice (phone) of the seventh angel when he will begin to sound (salpizo:G4537) the seventh (Rev 8:2, 6) trumpet (salpigx), the mystery of God will be finished (Rev 10:7), kingdoms of this world become the kingdoms of our Lord and His Christ, and He will reign forever and ever (Rev 11:15). Another, the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout (keleuma:G2752), with the voice (phone) of the archangel, and with the trump (salpigx) of God. And the dead in Christ will rise (Isa 26:17-27:1) first, then those who are alive and remain [left] will be – delivered (John 16:20-22; Rom 8:16-23) – caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet Him in the air (1 Th 4:16-17). Another, at the last trump (salpigx), it will sound (salpizo), the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we will be changed. "For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality..." (1 Cor 15:51-55 KJV). The preceding various details describe the Second Coming and First Resurrection (Rev 20:4-6).

(Part of) Unveiling

Gathering Scattered Pieces

And then the prophetic parts are like gathering scattered pieces of a picture puzzle and placing them, which clarify God's unveiling (2 Cor 3:13-18) order of events (1 Cor 15:20-28), learning about things once sealed (Dan 9:24, 12:3-4, 9), but now not sealed (Rev 22:9-10) and revealed (Mat 11:25-27; Eph 3:1-6) about the Savior (Psa 40:7-8) and His (mysteries) secrets (Rev 10:7) to whoever He so desires (Amos 3:6-8; Deu 29:29 7). Just as Jesus' first coming was foretold with various details scattered throughout the prophetic (1 Cor 13:9-13) Word, it is the same with His second coming (Heb 9:28).

(Part of) Meaning of 2 Thessalonians 2:7 in Context

Falling Away First

The second half of verse seven is an unclear translation to most. The wording "only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way" might not be the best translation for today's English.
There is something withholding the man of sin from being revealed, and the Thessalonians knew the answer according to five and six. Verses one through four is part of what they had been told before. But what is mentioned in verse three is the answer and the key to unlocking the understanding to verse seven. So with verses five and six start turning the key, "for that Day shall not come, except there come a falling away first," to begin opening up and understanding focal verse seven, "For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way."

(Part of) Tribulation

Tribulation Doesn't Mean Wrath of God

In my search to understand the word "tribulation," I found it to have much different Hebrew and Greek meanings than I believe most Christians have perceived. In my first perception of it, I thought of only judgments and wrath of God. I had the same perspective as most Christians until I studied it for myself.

(Part of) One Shall Be Taken and the Other Left

Left Behind

There are new fiction books being read and movies being seen by thousands of people that are based on a theoretical doctrine that could be called "Left Behind." According to it, the Saints will be taken, suddenly disappear, vanish in an any moment secret pre-tribulation rapture just before the Great Tribulation, and those left behind will have to go through that horrible and troubled time.

Assumptions

Believe it or not those assumptions are contrary to what the Bible reveals. By the way, before the Lord raptures His Church, he alerts the world in His coming. 1 He is not going to take His Saints out in a haphazardly way, leaving cars and planes crashing without drivers and pilots. When He descends (1 Th 4:16-17), He will come with clouds and every eye will see Him (Rev 1:7). It is interesting how the guys who hold to the contrary belief try to teach something that the Bible really does not show. I did not see the truth for the longest and could not figure out "one shall be taken, and the other left" until God's Holy Spirit led me to the right passages. It took a lot of cleansing by the Word of God to rid the error that was so embedded in my mind and heart.

(Part of) Condensed Study of the Bride

Come unto the Marriage (Mat 22:1-14)

In Matthew 22:1-14, the marriage for a king's son has been prepared, and will be furnished with the chosen (Mat 22:14) and with guests. The characters take on assorted roles in various parables.

Invited

Blessed are those invited (bidden, called). Before being accepted, must first be called (Rev 19:9) and accept the invitation, and then to be able to stay must have on the proper wedding garments (Mat 22:12; Rev 19:8, 14), which seem to be supplied by the king (Rev 3:5).

(Part of) Shedding of Innocent Blood!

Today's abortion laws, if you would open your eyes to see, are greatly affecting the adults – look at our corrupt leaders – and especially the children (even six year olds are killing other children) who will be leaders of our country some day. If we do not turn, there can only be a hand of God's judgment laid upon us. Because of their sin, Israel and Judah went into captivity and their cities destroyed. I believe similar judgment could happen to us, and it could be through terrorism by rogue countries. [That statement was place back in 2000 way before September 11, 2001 attack. The LORD warns us ahead of time before judgment comes. He gives us ample time to repent and a way out.]
